The INSAN SCHOOL is a group which runs several residential, educational institutions. It was founded by Padma awardee Dr. Syed Hasan in 1966 with just 36 students and two teachers in Kishanganj district of Bihar. At the time when the school was established, education was not an important issue for the people of the area, which led them to poverty and several other problems. The school played vital role in creating the educational awareness as it was the first such school. Today its alumni are serving the humanity not only in the country but across the world.

“My goal has been to create educational awareness among the people so that they could better standard of their lives. When I compare the time of embellishment of my school with present time, I think I achieved my goal because at that time there was no good school and today there are so many good schools available in all areas of the district” told Dr. Syed Hasan.
