Patna: While the last date of submission of Haj 2009 application form for Muslims in Bihar is May 31, 2009, the Bihar state Haj Committee has not been able to have hard copy of Haj application form so far, and so they have asked aspirants to download the form from the website of Haj Committee of India www.hajcommittee.com.
Bihar state Haj Committee executive Mr. Iftikhar Hassan has informed that those who want to perform Haj in 2009 from Bihar should download Haj forms from the website because forms have not been provided in the office of Bihar Haj Committee. He, however, has assured that as soon as forms reach the office, these will be sent to relevant offices from where people can get that.
He also said that people intending to go for Haj this year will have to submit their filled-in forms with first installment sum of Rs 30700 in Haj Committee of India’s account no. 30683623887 by state bank of India till 31st May. They will have to pay rest of the amount till 31st August 2009.
Mr. Iftikhar Hassan further informed that the international passports must be submitted with the form till 31st May in Bihar Haj Committee office. In case a person could not yet get his passport ready for any reason he will have to submit it till 31st August 2009. He declared that without passport no one can go on Haj. Therefore, the person who does not have passport should not fill the column of passport in Haj form until he submits it.
